Murrayfield Men for the USA in 2017

Once again Murrayfield players will be well represented in a Scottish Men’s Tour.

The Royal Caledonian Curling Club has announced that President of Edinburgh Curling Club, Jim Ramsay, John Good, Callum Harvey and Frank Ross will set off for USA in January 2017.

The 20-strong team Scottish Men’s Team will proudly carrying the Scotland flag – plus all the energy reserves they’ll need for three gruelling weeks taking in 30 games of curling. They’ll be looking forward to meeting up with some of the USA players they played against in Scotland in 2012, as well as making new curling friends.

The Herries Maxwell perpetual challenge trophy will go the winner for the best results over the Tour. Scotland has only a fairly narrow lead in ‘wins’ since the trophy was first presented in 1952 so, Murrayfield gives the participants its best wishes in their preparation for their grand tour!
