After a long but fun week in Kelso, the Murrayfield 1 team, consisting of Jenny Barr, Susan Kesley, Fran Stretton and Morna Aitken went one better than last year and overcame the Border 2 rink 8-4 to win the Henderson Bishop title in Kelso. Last year, the same team won the Cherrystone (low road). Congratulations ladies!

Murrayfield have qualified for the Maxwell Trophy Final. They managed to win two of their final round of games against the borders ensuring they will make the final. They will have to wait for Forfar to play Lanarkshire to see if they qualify top.

Currie & Balerno retained the Midlothian Province Bonspiel title, but only just - their average shot was 8.33 with Stewarts Melville very close behind on 8.00, which gained them the Colin Black Trophy! There were some impressive shots differences with quite a few un-expected - without naming any clubs/skips of course!
