New Stones is our dedicated Beginners Club. It is open to individuals aged 8+ who have recently attended a Try Curling session and then paid a New Stones membership to continue curling as a new hobby. Members are limited to playing with New Stones for only two seasons of curling, to ensure that it always remains a club for beginners. During that time our qualified coaches will lead you through informal sessions mixing practice with games to help you develop the skills and confidence to enjoy playing. it is the perfect pathway towards joining any of the 80+ clubs that play here.
Sessions are offered at a discounted rate, which includes the ice fees, provision of a qualified coach, and all equipment. You need bring only a spare pair of clean rubber-soled trainers to change into after arriving.
