Save Murrayfield Ice (skating) Rink

You may have seen or heard some news over the past week that Murrayfield Ice Rink has now closed for the foreseeable and is calling for government funding to secure its future. Please be aware that this solely affects the historic (Category-B listed) Art Deco skating/hockey rink next door: Our recently renovated 7-sheet curling rink is a completely separate business, with the ice pad managed by Murrayfield Curling Limited, and the off-ice areas managed by Edinburgh Curling Club Limited.

Subject to the planned easing of local government restrictions after this week (ending Sunday 25 October), Curl Edinburgh fully intends to reopen on Monday 26 October.

This has to be saved . It’s a part of Edinburgh.

We must save this Iconic Art Deco building .This sking rink has been open for many years. I used to have skating lessons there as a child.
It’s used for ice hockey now and can be off full use again.
