2022 Sellar Trophy (Ladies Open) results
Earlier this week, across Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 January 2022, we hosted Edinburgh Curling Club’s annual Ladies Open, the Sellar Trophy, generously sponsored by SXP Designs and Parsley & Thyme Catering.
10 teams competed in a three-round schenkel format to decide the league standings ahead of the finals. The teams ranked 3rd and 4th (Bruce & Gumley respectively) competed in the Low Road Final for the Arnold Seftor Trophy (first awarded in 1994) while the teams ranked 1st and 2nd (Davidson and Barry respectively) competed in the High Road Final for the Sellar Trophy (first awarded in 1951).
In the Low Road, Team Bruce beat Team Gumley 7-4 to win the Arnold Seftor Trophy, below:

In the High Road, Team Davidson continued their undefeated streak to beat Team Barry 10-3 and retain the Sellar Trophy:
